Tekken 3 (PSone)
9A short playthrough of Tekken 3 featuring Jin's ending. What I have to say about Tekken 3 has already been repeated a million times over. It's easily one of the best Playstation games released and probably one of the strongest arcade-to-console conversions out there, bettered only by perhaps Namco's later work on Soul Calibur for the Sega Dreamcast.
It's terrific enough that Tekken 3 holds up aswell as it does on Playstation, being the provided template that the series eventually returned to and continued to follow with Tekken 5 and Tekken 6. Air combos were key by this point and the design was strong enough that character balance was mostly equal making for highly competitve and memorable match-ups during my experience of the game with friends.
So yeah, it's a really great release, especially for 1998. I may eventually upload footage of the Bleemcast emulation of Tekken 3 so people can see Namco's fighter from a different perspective.
