Water Strainer Magic!

I used to think that it was impossible to get any useful amount of power out from redstone engines. But that changed after I tested the water strainer. Seems like the redstone engine is good at powering a water pump, and the water strainer is a really efficient machine when it comes to EUs. Maybe too efficient?

Comparing the coal EU generation in a generator (4.000 EU) to the water strainer (26.000 EU) kind of explains the strainer potential.

The "Water Power Plant" consists of three constellations of:
-3x3x1 Infinite water supply
-Pump
-Redstone Engine (4)
-Golden Conductive Pipe
-Water Strainer (5)
-Glass Fibre Cable

When four engines are run at full speed it seems like a sweet spot to power five strainers. All three constellations can be connected to one BatBox. Each Water Strainer outputs 2EU/t, this gives a total of 30 EU/t for the "plant", so there is a margin of one Strainer to the BatBox limit of 32 EU/t. This is more than enough to run for example a quarry in full speed (22EU/t via Energy Link).
