This is another version of an automated light controller made to light up an area during night and to keep unwanted monsters out (at least during night time). Of course, lamps do not consume power, so they could be lit always, but it feels more natural to turn them off during daytime.

The set up is very easy;
Solar panel emits EU (1/t) during sunlight. The EU detector cable is then lit, and a NOT gate makes the lamps active (and gates closed) at night only. And during rain.

The BatBox is used to collect the EU from the solar panel. If it is not connected to anything, the detector cable will not be lit. The solar panel could be connected to the main power in the compound to be used (until all storage units are full). Or it can be connected to anything that consumes the EU directly.

Using a Light Sensor makes the exact same thing as Solar Panel / EU detector cable, and do not require BatBox. This setup can be used when already having solar panels in a system.

The delay when changing day/night is not as visible during dusk/dawn. It will be a much more natural transition.

From the NOT gate I just connected red alloy cables to Wooden Plank Jacketed Cable, used that as lamp posts to the yellow lamps. Using Hollow Wooden Plank Panel makes the "post" fit nicely to the ground.

And of course, I just connected the cable to red allow cables to control the sticky pistons.
