Maybe not so much power conversion, but still creating power from any kind of fuel. But the important thing is to handle it in an effeicient way.

Until recently I have used the wrong methods to choose cable type for my setups. I thought that the cables just could handle a certain amount of transfered energy (EU/t), but the important factor is the packet size.

With this knowledge, it will be much easier to choose the correct cable.

From The Tekkit Wiki:
http://thetekkit.wikia.com/wiki/EU
"Cables can carry unlimited amounts of EU/t but only EU-Packets that are the same or below of their maximum Voltage. You can send unlimited amounts of 32 EU-Packets through a Copper cable but not a single 128 EU-Packet."

This is what's covered in this movie.

In the examples I only use tin cable (ultra low current cable) and copper cable. The powering units are thermal generators (output 20 EU/t) and solar panels (output 1 EU/t). This is only basic (low power) machines, but the same principle is used for all machines and cables.
