Tenda F300 Wireless N300 Home Router - configured as an Access Point ~75Mbps speed [part 1]
I've been using the Huawei DSL router for a while, then the D-Link DIR-600, but they don't offer sufficient speed, even though they are very stable.
I bought this Tenda F300 Wireless N300 Home Router for about 5USD a long time ago. It was on sale, because the firmware was botched, so you couldn't get into the advanced menus. After I managed to upload an older firmware into it from the official website, everything worked fine, but not 100% stable. Then I mounted a heatsink on its processor, but I never tested if it fixed the stability issue.
Now I'm using it for Wi-fi only, I put a proper password and connected its LAN to the main router's LAN, so now it's working really well an fast. Check out my other video with a proper speed test, the Allview P5 PRO crappy smartphone obtains 40Mbps download and 70Mbps upload speed, while my other phone (which I'm using for filming) reaches a similar 50Mbps down and 72Mbps up...
