Terraria Hardcore Randomiser Part 1 (SPELUNKING!)
1Welcome to Terraria Hardcore! Basically what that means is I will have three lives throughout the entire game (up until I face the Wall of Flesh)! Each time I die, something will happen that will change the game immensely. The first time I die, all of my items will be deposited into a chest and I will have to create a new Mediumcore character to continue as. If I die a second time, I lose all my items and have to create a Hardcore character. After the third death, it's game over!
The other thing is, all item drops from enemies are randomised! Every time I defeat an enemy, it will drop a completely random item in the game. So for example, it's perfectly plausible that I could get the Night's Edge (the strongest sword before Hardmode) right off the bat. However, this also means that a lot of Hardmode weapons and items are likely to drop. So as to keep myself from getting too overpowered, I am making a rule that I have to trash any Hardmode items or weapons.
This series is the third Season of Hardcore, a series I've wanted to start for a long time. Each Season will consist of a playthrough of a randomised version of a game, with some sort of added permadeath rule (1 life in most games). If I make it to Hardmode, Terraria will continue next month. If not, I'll have more Hardcore Series' next summer!
