Hello all and welcome to my let’s play of Phoenix Point! The Steam year 1 edition of the game came out and im playing through the game again. Hopefully we can complete the game this time over!

The Lair destruction isent something new for us. We approach the spawnery and destroy the eggs on its side to destroy it and and clear the region of the lairs influence. The way over to it however we are reintorudced just why terror sentinels are just so horrid for our soldiers to deal with.

I think it took me about 4 to 5 turns alone to deal with the sentinel and we had Pandorans in the field alongside it. This defenitly wasent one of my cleaner assaults, it was an overall mess honestly.

Afterwards I intended to the do the diplomatic mission to get aligned with Anu but the Pandorans had some thoughts about that and decide to attack 2 Anu havens when we try to fly there.

Not wanting to let 2 Havens get destroyed we divert the closest Manticore, but thats the one who was intended for the diplomatic mission. Oh well, the diplomatic mission has to wait im afraid.

The Haven defences on the other hand went very well. So well infact that we do the first defence in 2 turns! We do have 1 soldier who keeps taking shots to his face, but luckily we have enough medkits and duct tape around to keep them stitched together and alive throughout these missions.

Grit your teeth Amon, you are taking all these hits so the rest of your team doesent have to!

Phoenix Point is a strategy video game featuring a turn-based tactics system that is developed by Bulgaria-based independent developer Snapshot Games. It was released on December 3, 2019 for macOS and Microsoft Windows, with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 ports are set to released in 2020[1] and for Google Stadia in 2021.[2] Phoenix Point is intended to be a spiritual successor to the X-COM series that had been originally created by Snapshot Games head Julian Gollop during the 1990s.
Phoenix Point is set in 2047 on an Earth in the midst of an alien invasion, with Lovecraftian horrors on the verge of wiping out humanity. Players start the game in command of a lone base, Phoenix Point, and face a mix of strategic and tactical challenges as they try to save themselves and the rest of humankind from annihilation by the alien threat.
Between battles, the aliens adapt through accelerated, evolutionary mutations to the tactics and technology which players use against them. Meanwhile, multiple factions of humans will pursue their own objectives as they compete with players for limited resources in the apocalyptic world. How players resolve these challenges can result in different endings to the game.
