0This mode if based on the NES Tetris release, which means that there's not a single modern Tetris mechanic in it. So basically you have no hold, no lock delay, no wall kick, no hard drop, etc. The game allows you to pick between NTSC and PAL speeds. This run was made with the NTSC one, though I haven't noticed any difference between the two, so it's probably not that important.
Just like marathon, you can choose your starting speed level, since the faster it is, the higher score you get from cleared lines. I found level 7 to be a comfortable starting point.
