TeZ-X Spectrum Explorer
Explorer released in 1986 by Electronic Dreams. You play a marooned space pilot, your spacecraft has crashed on a deserted jungle planet. You are tasked with finding parts of your ship, once located you can escape this strange world. Played in a first person view, you must trek through the endless jungle, and I mean endless, this game boasts to have 40 billion randomly generated screens. That's not a typo, the game's claim to fame is its sheer, mind-boggling scale, generated on the fly to create endless procedurally crafted planets.\nThis game is certainly unique with some crispy Spectrum eye candy on the screen, but sadly there's not much gameplay. It looks impressive but the controls are inconsistent and confusing. It's more like a tech demo than a game.
