About this video: This video will show you the 5 best cameras for vlogging in 2018 going over a few different criteria. In this video, we talk about the price of each camera, its resolution, and expandability in addition to other general notes that you need to know when considering a camera for vlogging. This list includes cameras for both daily vlogging and direct to camera vlogs, so no matter what it should help you out.
The first camera on our list is the Canon Powershot G7X. The G7X has been the go-to canon vlogging camera for a long time now because of its small form-factor and vlogger friendly interface. Next on our list is the GoPro Hero 5. The GoPro has its own unique advantage with incredible 4k recording quality and extreme durability. What that being said, the audio quality isn't the best, and expandability is limited.
Coming in number three is the Canon 70D. The Canon 70D is a great vlogging camera with incredible quality and tons of expandability. It is, however, the biggest camera on our list making it a difficult one to use for a daily vlogger. After the 70D, we have the Sony a6500. The a6500 is Sony's 70D competitor, but it comes in a smaller form factor. This is great as it makes it more practical for daily vlogging use while having 4k quality and just as much expandability as the Canon 70D.
Rounding out our list is actually a more unexpected vlogging camera, and that is an iPhone. As the iPhone 6s, every iPhone made has a 4k rear camera and a great 1080p front-facing camera. With this quality, it makes them great for vlogging, and considering most people already have an iPhone, it's probably the most practical option.
