I've been playing World of Warcraft since early 2006, so it's been a part of my life for quite a while. I've decided to make an on-and-off Let's Play of the game, doing one zone at a time to experience the lore and the many stories of this huge MMORPG!
Stonetalon Mountains used to be mainly under Horde-control, but because of the Cataclysm, a larger passage has opened up from Ashenvale, giving the Night Elves easy passage, while other Alliance-forces push on further from the south. This has sparked a huge conflict in the zone between the Alliance and the Horde! The previously Venture Co. controlled Windshear Crag is now a big battlefield between the 2 factions fighting for control over the area, and there's also fighting going on near the southern border, and up closer to the peak of the mountains. Old threats also remain, with a large number of giant spiders and the Grimtotem tribe having a strong hold of the region. The Horde has brought in the newly invented Goblin-bomb from Ashenvale, and intend on using it against the Alliance. Will they be able to, or will the Alliance thwart their plans?
