In this short video I will explain to you how you can change the language for The Ascent, since it is not possible for now to change the language ingame.

I. First Way:

Right Click on the Icon on Steam and go to Properties - under launch options you type one of those lines

I. Second Way

You have to edit this file with a text editor after launching the game one time (edit while game is closed:

C:\Users\{YourUser}\AppData\Local\TheAscent\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

IF YOU HAVE THE GAME ON XBOX GAMEPASS, try this to look here:

C:\Users\{YourUser}\AppData\Local\Packages\CurveDigital.TheAscent_1ezqdnbhnc70m\LocalCache\Local\TheAscent\Saved\Config\WinGDK

Add at the bottom add if not there and saveguard the file - eventually you have to turn on overwriting protection:
