Hey everyone, it's Bluelizardjello!
With the last Dark Souls 3 DLC, and quite possibly the last new Souls content we'll ever see, The Ringed City
just around the corner. I want to hold a little contest, the "Create my Character Contest".
I last held this type of contest for the release of the Crown of the Ivory King DLC for Dark Souls 2.
The idea is simple: I will be playing through The Ringed City blind and live when it is released and I want one of you to design the character that I will use.
The rules are also simple: You must design a character and include the following 3 elements - 1) Name, 2) Build, in other words the weapons and armor (fasion souls), of the character,
and 3) A creative and original backstory for your character.
Please keep try to keep this backstory relatively short, around 100 words should be plenty (a little over, a little
under is fine). Give me a reason to care about your character, give them a motivation!
Also, when thinking of these 3 elements, try to tie them together with some sort of underlying theme. This can help to really bring your character alive.
Post your character idea as a comment on this video. The contest runs from the moment this video is live until Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 10:00PM Mountain Standard Time.
Entries will be judged by me and Stone and the winner will be announced on Tuesday, March 21, in a follow-up video.
While there is no set scoring system, we will be looking at creativity, originality, and viability of the build itself (no broken ladles!)
