The Crew 2 - The Summit "Goldseeker" (HAPPY NEW YEAR!)
12Last summit of 2020, first video of 2021. First of all Happy New Year to everyone of you. I hope you are all still and stay healthy. 2021 can only get better. ;)
With that out of the way here we go with the last summit of 2020, the premium summit "Goldseeker". Overall it is not a difficult summit, but has some annoying events (for my taste).
Most annoying to me is the rallyraid-event and the jetsprintevent. The BMW on the RR-race is just a total mess, because it doesn't steer at all and with wheel it feels like it has no grip at all. So i used the controler here, but still needed some pro-settings-tweaks. I tested Akors settings and they worked at least. (Thank you Bro!) The run was not perfect as you see. I have still room to improve.
The Jetsprint-race is annoying to me, because i don't know the track and i don't really like it. I needed like 30 attempts until i had a full first run, which was still f'ed up because i hit the rocks in the final corner. So i had to repeat it.
The rest was more or less decent or at least not that annoying (*cough* rr-escape *cough*). On the escape you can go 100km up to San Francisco and towards Seattle or in the other direction up to Chicago towards NYC. But as you see that is totally not needed. At about 6,5 km you get already over 157k points and the max points (157.850) you get at around 30 km. So i didn't bother much with that. I will however try to get a clean run with RR during the next days to see how far i can go here with the spec the test ist made for.
The mixed event is interesting to me personally, because i feel this race should be more a hovercraftevent than an "old-Charger-restricted" RX-event. I repeated the event once, because i f'ed up in the first attempt and got stuck under a scaffold in one corner.
The race with the fullstock RX8 Gold Edition is definitely improveable. But i didn't bother with that more than needed yesterday.
