The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind | Thievery

I returned to Tuls with news that I had dealt with the false incarnate in a peaceful manner. He then sent me on another pilgrimage to Maar Gan to learn another teaching of Vivec. In the shrine, there was a large stone that was thrown at Vivec when he taunted Mehrunes Dagon to throw it at him instead. I was mostly confused until I saw a Dremora.
I spoke with the priest and he told me to reenact Vivec's teaching... I had taunted the poor Dremora until it had made it clear that it would have its way with my corpse. This would not stand and so I took its life. Once more I made it back to Tuls only for him to tell me that there was one more task for me but that I was not ready for it.
Leaving the Temple I remembered that there was a Thieves Guild leader in Ald'ruhn. My first task was to steal a demon tanto from a fellow Mages guild member. I was assured that everyone in that guild would be gone for the day. His information was incorrect, as someone was watching the guild in case of intruders. I tried to explain that I was in the Mages guild, but he would not listen.
His life would end by my blade and then I had to clean up the mess of our conflict. It was the first time I had ever disposed of a body. Nothing could remain. I used a scroll of hellfire to incinerate his corpse into a fine soot and then I cleaned up what was left. My inability to pick locks had surfaced again and I took more time to learn quickly. Time was running short so I made a run to Balmora where I had heard someone bragging about having a Grandmaster lockpick... I took it from them and grabbed the Tanto. My next task from Aengoth the Jeweler would not be so simple...
