Eydis felt that I was still not ready for what task she had for me. So I took her advice and went to see Vivec's Fighters Guild for duties. This branch in particular is being run by an Orc. It is a bit surprising given that it's still taking a while for people to accept Orcs as citizens instead of viewing them as barbaric savages. All the same, Lorbumol had asked me to retrieve a ring from another Orc.
Vivec is a difficult place to navigate. I'm not sure what the architects were thinking when they were building Vivec but it was clear that everything had to look the same. The only thing that was different from each building where the banners loosely draped on the bridges as well as the signs posted on each building. Either way, I found the Orc and returned the ring for an advancement in rank.
Eydis acknowledged my rank and allowed me to take on her next task. Seek and destroy Orcs in a Daedric shrine. The Amulet of Shadows truly helped me in this conflict. In my pursuit of being balanced with all weaponry, the bow proves to be the most difficult to master. All the same, the matter was taken care of and my next task was to go seek out Verethi and his game and take them out.
There is something to be said about destroying a gang and being left with their loot. Crates and barrels of rare, expensive goods that I can't haul off by myself. Normally, adventurers call whatever military runs the country to handle the distribution of ill-gotten goods. I however have had enough of giving away free money. I will take some weapons for myself and sell off everything else.
