The Oblivion Gates are opening, and pouring forth are the Devilish Daedra of Mehrunes Dagon. Destroy the Daedra, and save the continent of Tamriel, as well as all of Mundus!

One of my favorite games ever made.

Oblivion came out in 2006 on PC, PS3, and XBox 360. Made by Bethesda Softworks.

After finishing up with Teekeeus, I thought to tell Earana that I turned in the book to him. She had the nerve to demand I steal it back! The book is clearly dangerous, I couldn't even manage to open it and break the seal on it, plus the smell of that corpse is still with me. I make my way to Bruma now, to get the recommendation from their Guild Leader.
Upon arriving in Bruma, the first thing you notice is the cold. The second thing you notice is that you came into the back gate like a fool, but it does put me somewhat closer to the Mages Guild. Nordic and Dark Elf structures abound here, quite fascinating, but the Guild calls to me. The Guild leader here is Jeanne Frasoric, a woman not very skilled in the magical arts, but gained her position through social standing. A shame, I say, but I need that recommendation, so I won't step on any toes. She asks me to find J'skar, and drops the name of Vol... uh... Volanaro. Yeah, that's it. Well, long story short, they were pulling a joke on her to get back at her for her inadequacy, and J'skar, a sneaky Khajiit, was invisible the whole time. I played along with their game and stole her Magic Manual. I can't help but feel there was another way to do this, with better effects...
Upon leaving the Guild, I decided I wanted to test my sword I got from Battlehorn Castle, and decided to head to the Imperial City Arena next. On the way out, though, I overheard about something happening to Teekeeus. I regret going back to Earana now, and make my way to the Chapel to pay my respects to the local Divines. Upon leaving the Chapel, I meet an odd man by the name of Jollring, asking me to meet his master Umbacano. I caught their interest when I sold that Ayleid statue to the Blacksmith in Chorrol. Very well, when I have the time I will make my way there. Bah. Off to the Arena.
