The Oblivion Gates are opening, and pouring forth are the Devilish Daedra of Mehrunes Dagon. Destroy the Daedra, and save the continent of Tamriel, as well as all of Mundus!

One of my favorite games ever made.

Oblivion came out in 2006 on PC, PS3, and XBox 360. Made by Bethesda Softworks.

I decide to avoid the Imperial City for now, as it has been such a short time since my escape from that cell. I make my way along the shore until I see a settlement and some ruins in the distance. I need a place to stay for the night, so I made my way there. The name of the settlement is Aleswell, and it seemed abandoned at first. Alas, it was not so. The townspeople and the other creatures in the vicinity were invisible, and gave me quite a fright. Their spokesperson asked me to assist them in finding a cure for their status. Turns out, a fellow Altmer by the name of Ancotar took up residence in Fort Caractacus. He has made a habit of using his spells with no regard for the people in town, and now I must solve this problem. If I can build up a good reputation across Cyrodiil, then maybe I can have more riches and power than ever before, but I must try my best to be kind to those around me by the standards of regular citizens and not that of how they usually perceive High Elves. Anyways, I make my way to Fort Caractacus and can't seem to find the entrance at first, but then I realized, as I stared down the face of a cliff, that maybe I was going the wrong way. I made my way around the other way and there was the entrance. An invisible wolf was all that stood in my way, and then I met Ancotar by following the sounds of his voice. After some talking with this ill mannered fellow, he gave me a scroll to cure what ales the town, and a ring to make the side-effects of the spell null. I went back to town and cast the spell, ring equipped, and the townspeople became visible. The people in the Inn gave me a free place to stay whenever I need to rest my head and put up my feet, but a abode so small is unbecoming of me. I decide I need a better place to stay, but also decide to stick around in town for a little while to be praised as a savior for just a little while longer.
