After Battlehorn Castle I want to do something easier, so I set out for Chorrol. Then I get the genius idea to join the Mages Guild, as it suits me well, and shouldn't be that hard. Then I find out I need to work on getting all of their recommendations to get into the Arcane University in the Imperial City. I have to do some tasks for the various Guild Leaders in each city. Might as well start here, as I am here. So I talked to this lady named Earana, a very stubborn and ill mannered woman, and an Altmer, much like myself. She demands I get a book for her, The Fingers of the Mountain. After returning to Teekeeus, the Guild Leader in Chorrol, I find myself in between a rock and a hard place. I venture out to the area mentioned by Earana. I made a steep climb up a mountain to the peak, Cloud Top. After admiring the view, I notice the corpse on the ground, charred and electrified, still smelling freshly shocked even though it is clearly not. I found the book near the corpse and made my way back to Teekeeus and got my recommendation. I don't need anything to do with whatever that Ayleid trap was.
