A small US-based GNU based on Arch LinuxThe 1.7 version of the /Linux distribution Snal Linux was announced by Jeremy Wakeman. 5.13.9 version built on the Linux kernel; It contains various packages such as firefox 90.0.2, alsa-lib 1.2.5.1, clonezilla 3.35.2, glibc 2.33, e2fsprogs 1.46.3, file 5.40, lynx 2.8.9, pcmanfm 1.3.2. Coming with the i3 window manager, Snal Linux includes the Firefox web browser as well as a handful of network and file system utilities. The system is intended to be used live to troubleshoot hard disk, system and network problems. It is stated that the Snal Linux ISO image can be easily burned to a DVD using standard software, and the image is approximately 1.5 GB in size. It is stated that the Snal Linux ISO image can also be exported directly to a USB drive (at least 2 GB) with the dd command or using similar software. It is stated that the default Snal Linux interface is the i3 window manager, but if desired, it can be edited to run startxfce4 instead of /home/snal/.xinitrc. SnalLinux 1.7.

Snal Linux is based on Arch Linux with some packages from Arch User Repository. As with Arch, x86_64 is the only architecture supported.
Snal Linux 1.7 comes with Linux kernel 5.13.9 and Firefox 90.
