In this part, we start by exploring Route 4 and catching a few Pokémon (Pumpkaboo, Milcery - Pudding, Galarian Meowth, Electrike, Pikachu, and Diglett). Afterwards, we arrive in the town of Turffield and complete a minor puzzle by examining the three stones in the order of the first three Gym's (Grass, Water, Fire), before taking on the first gym. Inside each Gym we must first complete a Gym Mission before we can challenge the Gym Leader. Milo's Mission is to herd a flock of Wooloo all the way to the far end of the Gym. If a Yamper gets near the Wooloo they will scatter in fear and we'll have to either try again to get past them, or defeat the Yamper's nearby trainer to stop it from harassing the Wooloo. Once we get to the end of the Gym, we clear the Mission and take on Milo. During each Gym Leader Battle, you and the Gym Leader can each Dynamax one of your Pokémon. Dynamaxing makes them stronger for three turns, and the Gym Leader will only Dynamax their last Pokémon. Once we defeat Milo, we receive the Grass Badge, and Pokémon up to Level 20 can be caught.
