Want a farm sim where you mostly take photos and investigate the weirdness of the lake district? Then check out this condensed version of the Cheapness affordable gaming review of The Good Life [Episode 75] #shorts

This farming simulator/ survival game/ photography game was made by White Owls Inc. and published by Playism. The FULL review of this cheap gaming review shows how:
-It has mixed visuals: Grungy natural textures but some nature scapes look good with a good draw distance, lifeless neighboring towns but good looking buildings with edges that are too straight etc.
-Good sympathetic and contemporary musical takes on the British village (Has more scenario specific stuff and even a piece that reminds me of oasis)
-As the heading hinted at pinning down the genre is a bit of a task as it has you doing light farming, scavenging, mining, fighting etc. but the customization options and upgrades are mostly optional and usually, your photography skills and exploration will be what you rely on...
-The photography is great as it requires looking for good, interesting things to shoot that comply with the weekly keywords (Maybe a bit rigid because this is a gameworld but still cool) or finding specific things for quest (Yay detective work)
-It's also good because you make most of your money this way but the economy is structured so that you usually won't have more money than you know what to do with
-And the world is lovely to explore to find those picture opportunities but most of the world is rather empty (As country fields often are) but it's nice when you find something cool and weird inbetween
-Crafting is simple but cooking can be good because you learn recipes the more you eat a dish (Another excuse to explore and actually enter restaurants)
-You can transform into a dog or cat and some of the stuff that allows you is great (Scent tracking missions especially) but it has some abilities that fall to the wayside (Annoying to transform into a cat just to jump a fence and I rarely climbed up buildings for instance) and the team cat or team dog relationship system does nothing other than offer discounts from those factions
-Riding your sheep is fun but it's a bit tanky and those English country roads are narrow
-Combat is as simple as this genre is renowned for (Rigid)
-So, some mechanics are a tad underutilized or perhaps not as fleshed out arguably (Has other unrefinements too like the odd floating npc)
-The game is lovely and weird with a plot dealing with the mainline conspiracy/ legendary fare (Aliens/ King Arthur/ Coverups) and it serves well as a detective story as I constantly questioned how these actually factored in (But spoiler alert you won't get the main answer you're looking for)
-It's unique as a farm sim in that you're character is crass and sweary as is some of the townsfolk (You may become a loved member of the town but they won't act like it!)
