The GTX 1070 (and an i7) can play Watch Dogs 2 in 4K
UPDATE: I added the part about an "i7" to the title of this video, because I am seeing worse performance, when testing with an i5, at least at 1080p. While I continue i5 testing, I am going to keep this update and title change in the video. You can see the i5 testing I've done so far here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF1eqAE1Fss
I usually demand 60fps performance, from games, but Watch Dogs 2 is proving to be enjoyable, even when it is below 60fps, at least, when using i7 processors, so far. (I have not had a chance to test it with an i5 or AMD processor yet)
This is one of the few games that I actually like at 4K 30fps (and as you'll see, in the video, performance is actually better than 30fps). But there is one thing that I do not like. The lower frame rate, coupled with playing on a TV, versus a monitor, makes aiming a little difficult for me. If you're used to aiming, at 30fps, on a TV, when playing console games, it's not too different from that. So while this looks and feels nice, overall, the aiming suffers, in my opinion. When playing on a proper gaming monitor, at 60fps or better, the game actually controls really well. (note that these observations, on aiming, come from me using a controller... I cannot comment on mouse feel, at the moment)
