Talking about Wuthering Waves’ parkour last week got me thinking about other games that do it well, which of course brought my mind to Mirror’s Edge, and figured I’d make a video on it as well.

It kinda ended up being more about first-person platforming in general, because fully talking about both was a bit more than I could cram into a minute. Still, I think that’s an interesting topic on its own.

But yeah, the things ME does to make its lack of air-control work are worth a whole video on their own. It’s a lot of subtle stuff, and some not so subtle stuff that I couldn’t fit into this one.

Also, I made the mistake of choosing another skill-based video to record. I clearly didn’t learn my lesson last time, and ended up taking ages to get an okay-ish run. I then of course, spent the rest of the night trying to get a cleaner run, with some optimizations I’d worked out since, and so here we are. Next time, I really gotta remember that I’m not good at games, lol.

Anyway, think that’ll do it for this week. Thanks, as always, for your time. And till next time, take care out there.
