I've belatedly discovered the bow - an incredibly useful weapon for stealth gameplay due to its silence and high speed. The precise factors determining whether your arrow breaks when it hits an enemy or remains whole (and can be picked up and used again) seem to remain somewhat unclear even four years after the game's original release, which is a shame given the limited resources available on Grounded difficulty.
