The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons Dungeons: Ancient Ruins (Part 1)
Ancient Ruins is a pretty bland title, to be honest. I always thought Lost Tower would be a better name for this place. Nonetheless, this is my absolute favourite dungeon in this game. The place seems to have an ancient Egyptian theme, as you can tell by the music and the abundence of Gibdos. It does this theme vary well, you'll see traps, worthless treasure chests, dead end rooms and much more.
This dungeon's item is the Magical Boomerang. Like in the original Zelda, it travels further than the normal one, but, new to this game, you can control its flight path. It's pretty useful, and was probably the inspiration behind Phantom Hourglass's Boomerang.
Notes:
-"The Wheel" makes a return appearence early on, and is actually a significant puzzle this time. You need to use one of your keys just so you can manipulate it!
-By this point in the game, you should have the L2 Sword and Shield. Complete the item trading quest to get the upgraded sword. See my videos for getting the shield.
