Another game we didn't think we'd be spending too much time on. Now our average race time is like fucking eight hours. the game itself well its gorgeous, got great music and offers an apparently legendary challenge. while its not that hard, especially by todays standards, it is pretty damn annoying and difficult for two bozos who are not classically trained in the arts of old school difficulty. As pretty as it is the art can get in the way, it can be hard knowing where the hell youre allowed to jump, what is a ledge and what is a background asset might as well be a toss of the dice. It introduces new concepts in every level but purposefully makes them obtuse or just seem full on broken to fulfill disneys mandate that the game should not be able to be completed in one rental period. Overall the game is worth playing in my opinion, if for anything, at least for the bragging rights.

The Lion King is a platform game based on Disney's 1994 animated film The Lion King. The game was developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment for the Super NES and Genesis in 1994, and was ported to MS-DOS, Amiga, Game Gear, Master System, and Nintendo Entertainment System. The Amiga, Master System, and NES versions were only released in the PAL region. It is the final licensed NES game worldwide. The game follows Simba's journey from a young cub to the battle with his uncle Scar as an adult.
