Maybe you've seen even more ludicrous designs somewhere, but the arms and armor in the Monster Hunter series are pretty much the definition of over-the-top fantasy stuff.

Since people have asked me about my opinion on these games, here it is. This is mostly for entertainment but I tried to also squeeze in some general information about weapons and some of the practical implications of their shape and size.
