The Outsider Who Loved Gensokyo: Touhou RPG Project - Part 113 (True Route: Part 3)
23This is it! The final boss encounter in Makai within the lair of the culprit! What sort of fate awaits Gensokyo residents, the main character and the antagonists?
Due to story purposes, I had to change the requirement of the true ending. When the Abyss is completed, the crystal that Yumeko activates after the fight with Shinki becomes locked. To unlock it, the player must go inside Makai III (Ice cave) and fight the special boss fight there and then defeat the other boss fight in Makai III (Water cave). The two remaining crystals in the hub serves as shortcuts and are also unlocked when Shinki has been fought.
If the player doesn't enter Makai before the Abyss, they will notice no differences but they might if they go far in Makai before completing it. As a result of that, some people using older save files might be stuck even if they fulfill the requirements. To solve this issue for now, a cat will appear in the teleportation hub to unlock the crystal for you once you have completed the Abyss, fought Shinki and defeated the demons.
I would also like to note that this part has a significant amount of typos and mistakes but as usual, I fixed everything I found before packing up the game and uploading it. You'll also notice that if you saw the normal ending, you'll see a good amount of repetition but don't let that misguide you because... well... something seems off but what could it be?

This new update contains everything shown in the previous parts and the current one. There is no longer a 4th save giving starting bonuses for players who already played the game before. However, there is now a white cat near Yukari's house (impossible to miss, it is visible after the opening cutscenes) that'll raise the main character to lvl 70, give the Bootleg Kusanagi, 500,000 Yen and give spells to remove enemies quickly. The content of the fourth save file is basically the save file I've been using while playtesting the game during streams.
