This map always got savescummed hard, so it never registered with me how awful some of the encounters are. Starting the map with killing 2 barons in a tight space seems unnecessary, they really could've been swapped with the 2 hell knights in the next room, or removed entirely. The bridge with the chaingunners has confused me my entire life, and I am still not really sure how it's supposed to work. I think I only got by because of GzDoom physics. The archvile trap at the end is probably the worst part. Those pillars are completely unreliable as cover if they are both attacking, and standing still for any amount of time is an invitation for homing rockets. Thankfully I found that the 2 sides activate on different linedefs so I could do them one at a time. Tower of Fire is a great midi, I'll admit it works with this map but it doesn't feel deserving.
