The Shoot Up #34 - Down Load (PCE)
1I eventually had to skip the rest of the intro 'cause there were too many screen flashing effects. : P
Anyway, Down Load is a horizontal shooter on PC Engine, and does have a distinct look from the tons of other shooters on the system. And you've got limited-ammo secondary weapons, which is a different twist.
Run of the mill enemies took a lot of hits with my shot, and seemed to like milling back at the far end of the screen. It's sort of a weird stand-off type of action (although then some of them bum-rushed me, the meanies!). Overall the gameplay kind of left me cold.
Please don't look at the Continue screen (6:00), it has an inappropriate word on it. 8-o
