The shorts will soon make a big mistake, these shorts aren't perfect and do make mistakes, both Virtu and Citadel currently have 2 separate viewpoints on the market so one of them is wrong, it just depends who is wrong and how badly it affects them.
This means other shorts out there are also likely making mistakes which will soon cause these hedge funds to blow up, causing the squeeze.
The Ape and AMC institutional ownership has also just been released and the data seems, way off, only 100k ape shares are being held compared to 140m AMC shares but yet over 40m ape shares are being shorted? a lot, but a small amount compared to AMC's 100m shorted shares.
