The Sisters Brothers Movie Review - Collider @ TIFF 2018
Perri Nemiroff and Adam Chitwood review The Sisters Brothers at TIFF 2018. Based on Patrick Dewitt’s novel of the same name, the film follows two brothers, Eli and Charlie Sisters, who are hired to kill a prospector who has stolen from their boss in 1851 Oregon. The Sisters Brothers marks the English-language debut of writer/director Jacques Audiard, who won the 2015 Cannes Palme D'Or for his film Dheepan.
The film stars Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly, along with Riz Ahmed and Jake Gyllenhaal. It opens in theaters on September 21st.
