The title is accurate, I feel, because I’m not here to tell you how good strongboxes are. This video is not about if strongboxes are worth running, because they’re not. Rather, it’s an investigation on their mechanics, affixes, tablets, types and much more. I think it’s interesting, and if more content gets added, I think this is great information to have. Here’s what I found, let’s dive in.
As it’s still early days, I’m going to have to make some assumptions, based on my experience, my testing, how strongboxes work in PoE 1, and some common sense. I opened up around 100 strongboxes specifically for this video, half of those juiced quite a bit, and I learned a lot.
