The Witcher 3 [Gameplay #5] - Wanderlust [Death March Difficulty]
The Witcher 3 is quite possibly the largest open world game ever made. I can't think of any similar title with such a breathtaking amount of well-designed side quests and wonderfully hand-crafted environments instead of the mere collectible-based OCD fodder, procedurally generated wastelands and rudimentary fetch quests which you find in most RPGs of this size. While the frequently utilized "Witcher sense" is a pretty simplistic and boring gameplay mechanic (since it's essentially just a glorified LA Noire/Arkham Asylum-inspired pixel hunt), the narrative component of even the smallest of quests is often far more fleshed out with interesting character interaction and player choice than it has any right to be. Few games can match CD Projekt's latest in terms of scope, scale and the sheer ambition of its design.
