In this episode, Geralt takes some time to explore the outskirts of Vizima, where he rescues his old friend, the dwarf Zoltan Chivay, from some racists, meets Abigail the witch-doctor, learns about the plagues of the land from The Reverend, and mingles about with the folks. Things take on a different and much more dangerous twist at night, when Geralt saves Vesna the barmaid from a group of local thugs and then escorts her home through hordes of roaming barghests and pissed-off ghouls.
