Let's Each break this bs mechanic down. Each building in the game has a chance to spawn zombies once a player interacts with it beyond a certain threshold, which we also explain.
We also discuss how this mechanic can frustrate players, as it goes against what the game typically strives for, trading immersion for mechanical knowledge to avoid being unfairly robbed of all the player's effort.
We also suggest that players use this mechanic to their advantage in places like the Crossroads mall, which can spawn over a thousand zombies. By clearing the exterior zeds and then crossing the threshold on their own terms, players can manage the number of zombies they encounter.
I acknowledge that the BS mechanic is necessary due to limitations in the game engine, but I hope that The Indie Stone, the game's developers, will be able to optimize the mechanic in the future.
