Fundamental knowledge, understand how guns work, their underlying stats (at least the basics), what ones are right for you, and when you should use them.
Planning, get the lay of the land, pick potential targets and areas to train, plan your prefatory skill training so you can succeed at the task at hand.
Preparation, prepare you characters body, ensuring injuries or exercise fatigue won't be afflicting your character. The goal is to start the day you want to train or clear and area COMPLETELY free of negative moodles and body damage. After that, prepare the days rations, mags and medical equipment so as to sustain you while clearing an area.
Execution, you're ready for the day(s) ahead. You should already have a method of training in mind. You can do driveby's, fire through fencing, or park off the beaten path working your way in to clear an area.
