"The WoW community isn't toxic." - Blizz Devs, probably
As if any group of humans, or individuals in general, aren't inherently toxic since the beginning of time.
One of your first viral videos from your community was a guild pvp crashing another guild's in-game funeral. Any Blizz Dev who says the WoW community doesn't have a toxicity problem is actually, objectively, lying to your face. For seemingly no reason. Every multiplayer game I can think of has a toxicity problem, and WoW is one of the worse offenders. Have fun pugging mythic keys and basically any raid.
Blizz Devs do not make a game toxic (well that's arguable after seeing their company culture), nor does Asmongold make WoW toxic. The people who log in running their instances like it's a navy seal boot camp are the ones being toxic. The Onyxia Wipe isn't just an old meme. It's just as relevant today as it was then.
And to watch current players running around shit talking people who leave and defending the game's current state. Are you doing WoW a service? Are you doing Blizz a service?
This isn't "just another small exodus during a weak xpak". We made it through WoD. We made it through BfA. This is hands down the WORST we have ever seen the WoW community, the game state, and the company's behavior and work ethic... Ever. Everybody used to say I'm taking a break from WoW. I'm done with this xpak. Etcetera. I've never seen so many people say they are done. Quitting. Uninstalled. Unsubbed. Over it. Preach, MadSeason, Stoopzz, Pint, Pyro (arguably), and more importantly hundreds of thousands... Maybe millions of players.
But do go on. See where it gets you. Although, that tank might run dry pretty soon...
