I decided I wanted to think through this using a bold set of changes to the Elementalist profession. With special thanks to the chat for all of the ideas and input!

The "Approach" text reads thusly:

I'm using the following approach for this rework discussion: Only considering PvE, dealing with the game as it is now (not considering different approaches to profession creation), trying to stay true to idea of the profession, no deleting/creating/renaming skills, stick with energy costs of 0/1/5/10/15/25. This is a theoretical design exercise; as such, why of changes is more important than specifics.
