They Were Going to Combine in Transformers 2. Something that I noticed in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is that there was a lot of combining in the film. At the climax of the movie, we got the most notorious combiner of them all, Devestator. Which consisted of over 10 constructicons. And then we had jet powered Optimus Prime. Which was a combination of Optimus and Jetfire. And it also doubled as an awesome reference to Transformers Armada. And to a certain extent we saw the twins Skids and Mudflap combined into an Ice Cream truck until they realized it didn’t really work in their favor. But apparently, we were going to get another combination that was cut at the last minute. And that is the Arcee sisters. As a matter of fact, there were originally going to be 5 motorcycles as opposed to the 3 that would combine into a singular, larger robot. The idea remained until comparatively late in production. But Michael Bay chose to drop the idea for fear of the confusion it would cause given how much else was already going on in the film.
