This Detail for Megatron Made No Sense in Transformers 5. When it comes to the aspect of continuity, the Bayverse films are arguably the weakest. Transformers The Last Knight basically threw it out of the window. Especially with the character of Megatron. In Age of Extinction he was rebuilt with a body that could burst into a cloud of Transformium. But he appeared with a new body that didn’t possess this ability in The Last Knight. Which the film failed to explain. We just assumed it was because of Quintessa. But 1 of the biggest continuity errors would have to be his interaction with Lennox. During a scene where General Moreshower plays a recording of a suspicious Transformer’s voice. Lennox recognizes it as Megatron’s. Which made no sense. Since the last time he saw Megatron was in Dark of the Moon back when Hugo Weaving was voicing the character. But as you’re aware Megatron’s voice had changed ever since Transformers Age of Extinction. And he was now being voiced by Frank Welker. Making this 1 of the funniest continuity errors in the movies.
