This Brutal Sentinel Scene Was Cut from Transformers One. The overall tone of TF One could be described as kid-friendly with a small spurt of mature themes sprinkled throughout. It explores a story of friendship, betrayal, and the origins of the iconic rivalry between Optimus Prime and Megatron, delving into the societal inequalities on Cybertron. While it starts with playful shenanigans and relies on witty banter and quips, it gradually transitions into a more serious and impactful narrative as the stakes rise, and the characters confront the consequences of their actions and the realities of their world. And there were a few times where things looked like they could take it brutal levels like the 1s seen in the Bay films. But the animators made sure not to cross those dark waters by cutting the camera away. And it was probably for the best. For example, in the scene where Sentinel Prime decapitates Alpha Trion. It cuts aways, only showing his blade as it drives through what seems to be Alpha’s neck. As you can see in this image this is what the brutal finish would’ve looked like.
