[Synopsis]
This video is about what you can do with an old computer from donating it and getting a tax write off, turning it into a file server, or turning it into a retro video game console/retro computer. You don't have to throw away a old computer which was produced from 1995 to 2008. If it is old enough, you can even sell it for a lot of money, like Pentium 2/Pentium 3 based computers with Windows 98. Computers made from 2007 to 2008 can still be used today if you use a distro of Linux which doesn't have very high system requirements.
Here is the break down

◙ 1998 to 2000 Computers (Windows 98)
• Retro Computer for Windows 95 and Windows 98 games
◙ 2001 to 2005 Computers
• Retro Computer for most Win95/98 games, and Win XP games
◙ 2006 to 2009 Computers
• Use as everyday computers, bootable emulator(Batocera/Recalbox), or standalone emulators.
(You can upgrade the graphics card/CPU and play just about every emulator game from NES
to Sony Playstation 2)
