thinkingParticles 6 Subscription Drop 1 Shape Position
Demo shows multiple flexi splines attached to a ring.
how to accurately position Splines on Splines 100% Procedural.
- DynamicSet scene shows particles simulating splines
- Mesh display turn on:
- DynaSet : PositionBorn, H Float, H AddMultiply, DataChannel btwn 0 to 1
Create Splines
Use SEED particles
Iterator defines the amount of splines: random value btwn 20-30 in this case.
SplineCreate and add the particles to define length -
Feed in a Relative Position (H Shape) on the circle : relative so 0 means start of spline , 1 means the end of it.
Add force to splines only
Attaching splines to SEED particle
Beginning spline band hanging on circle is attached to seed particle so moves with the seed particle effect.
Next parameter to splinePool and doing the phys sim. Amazing special effects and everything is procedural.
thinkingParticles 6 Subscription Drop 1 Curve2D & Shape
Demo new shapeOperator and curveControl operator:
- use any shape now for Procedural Splines!
- Splines are now fully particle-based controlled elements
- new way of procedural modelling in 3d studio Max
- splinePool demo shows how to create guiding particles for the splinePool
- splineData
Iterator feature
-Iterator controls the dimensions of the spline
-how to do random dimension such as height in the splinePool : connect random operator node to Iterator node: define the min and max height. Random values amazing power for 3ds Max Procedural Modelling.
Enhancements
-customizable shapeOperator instant update and changes the spline shapes with whatever
shapes that is designed and inserted into the workplace.
-shapeOperator can be placed anywhere in the dynamicSet - no need to wire operators together - multiple access.
Control the size and shape along the spline: curveOperator
-Modify instantly the animated model of your splines
-controls fully supportive of 3ds Max procedural modelling.
-Also supports multiple curves in one operator!
