2This is thinkingParticles 6.2 (Subscription Drop 2). In this video we discuss the additions we have done to the new Gas Propeller Operator node.
- smoke fluid interacting with a rigid body such as fume moving the propeller.
- creating fluid dynamics interacting with rigid bodies.
- propellor has a joint that fixed it in space but allows for rotation.
- unique feature on master setup: the TP6 smokeSolver ia able to 'talk' to another solver, in this case, the bulletPhysics solver! Opens up a whole new world to fluid effects as fluid solvers can now talk to rigid bodies
- in this scene, the smoke fumes pushes the propeller to rotate.
- fume behaviour changes will automatically effect the propeller motion as well.
- alter the parameter 'speed of gas' so more pressure, faster flow and more kinetic and propeller spins faster .
- with TP SD2 , you get all kinds of gases effect possibility.
- No pre-reconditions !
