thinkingParticles 6 Subscription Drop 1 ValueToValue

ValuetoValue(V2V)

Demo shows an array of particles that responses to a point obj/
- how it is done:
-positionBorn using Pistol Shot feature (creates an array of particles in one go)
-create the obj - feed number of vertices
- vertices define where a particle lands.
- particleData

A grid is now displayed.

Use particleSearch linked dataChannel to find the largest distance to a point.
Value is stored.
- V2V operator controls curves and input value and matches value to an output value : between 0 and 1
- changing input to conform to specific output and the curve defines how it changes
- particle position , distance and V2V operator
-define the max allowed distance and this is measured in the dynamicSet
- feed into the max value
- smallest particle : min o/p set to 1.
Max size is given a value such as 50.
Phase allows animation of curve controls.

- demo shows moving around different sizes of particles:
particles further away and closer to the point gets smaller with the motion

- Scale feature in PopUp/Rollout gives the number of curves or concentric circles of
the model. No keyframes needed.

- Phase animates the effect of the curve control.
