For me the defining factor of the PSP was the amazing "middle quality" games for it. The PS2 games that were ported down to the PSP, but kept much of the same content in place.

This was the case particularly for many, many, sports and racing games on the platform, particularly before 2007. These games were ambitious, and looked really good on the small screen.

For me, it is these often forgotten games that define the PSP for me, rather than the games that normally make people's "top 10 PSP games" list.
