Here’s a second successive figure review from Genshin Impact, this time around, featuring Wonderful Works’ 1/7 scale Mona Megistus. For a figure made by a Japanese company, and also a subsidiary of Good Smile Company, oddly enough she got an early release in China, just like Apex Toys’ Keqing did. The latest information I’ve received just yesterday, is that she will finally be releasing on Japanese sites on the 27th of October 2022, with a MSRP of 17,600 yen, not yet including taxes or shipping costs.

Mona is famed for her backside. Fortunately, Wonderful Works did no disappoint in this regard. Most of the sculpt are okay, but I can’t get over that weird looking right armpit. And then let’s not mention the odd choice of color for her base shall we? While this figure is absolutely a must-have for Genshin Impact fans, simply because there are no other scales of her yet, I certainly wish Japanese figure companies do better with their figure box packaging. Mona’s packaging really pales in comparison to Keqing.
