Max Factory certainly has not lost their touch. I have not purchased their figures in some time. This 1/7 scale of Archer class servant Tomoe Gozen from Fate Grand Order, or FGO, by Max Factory, is a great example of how refined their figures can be. Good figures are not defined by how epic they look, how complex they are, or how expensive it is, but how refined and flawless the figure is overall. Not a hint of defects anywhere to be found, except for a couple of part fittings which i felt could have been better.

What I couldn't understand is why almost (if not all) Fate Grand Order figures made by Max Factory, so far, are all exclusives. Lancer / Elizabeth Bathory, or Archer / Jeanne D'Arc, or Berserker / Jeanne D'Arc Alter - just to name a few, are all exclusives in some way. Only the Saber faces like Archer | Artoria Pendragon isn't an exclusive.

It doesn't make the figure higher in value from what I have observed so far. I don't think Max Factory or Good Smile needed that limited or exclusive label at all to convince collectors to buy a figure that well made like this one. A Type Moon fan? Fate series or FGO fan? Then there are not much reasons not to buy this one.

I was so focused on Apex Toys' Ningguang from Genshin Impact for the past week and half that I had forgotten I purchased this figure more than a month ago and stashed her aside. Better be late than never I guess.
